"The Thing (The Thing)" is the prequel to the 1982 classic of the same title directed by John Carpenter. The terrifying beauty of an extraordinary continent, Antarctica, serves as backdrop for a scientific mission. A discovery that opens possibilities unimaginable becomes a struggle for survival when a group of international music boxes researchers discover an alien. The creature has the ability to change shape at will and become the perfect copy of any human being. Paranoia music boxes spreads like wildfire among infected mystery scientists come from another planet. Paleontologist Kate Lloyd and pilot Braxton Carter will join forces to prevent the creature kill one by one the team members.
From my point of view, a movie fails when it is not able to deliver what it promises, ie when you do not see heaping expectations you had put into it, and that's what happens to The Thing. Not that I had high expectations, just spend some time entertaining as possible. But the result is disappointing. A boring linear film, which does not raise interest at any time; the worst that can be said for a film that aspires to be scary.
It does not cause anything, in 103 minutes is not capable music boxes of making you feel no tension at the situation we are living, and empathy music boxes for the protagonists (who do not get to know or get affection), or suspense, or punishment by death of any of the characters (for the above), even a slight start, or a little disgusted when I see the bug appear. Nothing. It leaves you totally indifferent.
No risk, stays in the safe and for me that is already a failure, and considering that with that story better, certainly more entertaining, you could have done. Material had to make a sci passable fiction but the thing (and Thing) is cooled and at the end you just burned but the tedium that goes like (neither the Thing) is one himself for having wasted time on something so tasteless . From version 1982 is well below 4.
In "No Exit (Abduction)," a young boy discovers a photograph of when he was a baby on a website for missing persons. Such fact leads to distrust their parents, who have many things to hide. Suddenly, you will be forced to initiate an escape for his life.
Freeway is a fairly porous film, the main problem being their limited and confusing script. A film designed for the showcasing of its main character, the young Taylor Lautner, music boxes fresh from the famous Twilight saga that, to blend a lot and not disappoint his fan, here also goes shirtless (sorry, reference was inevitable) . Personally while watching this movie was going to feel as if every scene parading music boxes across the screen were improvised; as if the film were lurching adrift, music boxes without rhyme or reason. A hollow product, poor quality lead without any viewer deserves. With a little polish his script off the loose ends, perhaps, and say perhaps music boxes the film could have passed the test. As for the actors, despite the big names, Sigourney Weaver, Alfred Molina, Maria Bello, music boxes none reaches emphasize minimally impossible considering the depth outlined without playing characters who touched them. Taylor Lautner does what he can, noting especially in the action scenes, but it shows that it is very buggy; perhaps with time and if you leave. 3.5
Emma (Anne Hathaway) and Dexter (Jim Sturgess) meet on the day of his college graduation, July 15, 1988. She is a working-class girl who dreams of making the world a better place. He is a rich young man eager to take on the world. For twenty years, every July 15th, shows us how he spent his life and how extraordinary is their friendship. But finally, one day both realize that what they had been seeking for years was before them.
One day is the film adaptation of the novel One Day by David Nicholls; who, incidentally, was in charge of the script of the film. Without having read the work of Nicholls story I liked it, it's different, romantic, a bit cheesy but very nice. It shows that it is based on a book, so perhaps there is a feeling like you are not seeing everything in the relationship of the characters, as if they were bits and pieces of the highlight of the novel, also by this peculiarity that all happen in the same day in different years. music boxes It's still a film that flows nicely. I was struck by the staging, music boxes exterior, locations, music boxes quite uplifting the level of the film with
