Right away when you start up PC or there is memory leak afterwards? You can always take 20$ and upgrade to 8GB.

Windows cod mw2 doesn't use 4GB RAM and the fact that nothing in task manager shows what is using it all says that there is a problem Even with 12GB RAM, Windows only uses about 2.7GB for me, with 4GB it used way less, <2GB
It's not just Windows he has open though... Does that 2.7GB include: - at least 7 instances/tabs of Google Chrome - running BF3 (it says borderless there...) - running origin - running Kies (Samsung phone thing) - Steam - hardware apps (Razer Synapse etc) - Skype - Teamviewer and that's just whats showing in the screenshot! There could be a lot more loaded. Also, those memory figures may not be truly indicative of their full actual use or the full system use. For instance, not all of Windows memory use is shown there. In any case, I would say it is quite reasonable in your situation. 4GB of memory really isn't enough these days, 8GB would go a long way. Also, reducing what you have loaded, and removing any unnecessary background apps would help. Things like the Adobe update service (installed when you have Adobe installed), or the Java update scheduler are completely stupid. Instead of running as a service, or have any program loaded at all, they should just have the update task scheduled (no memory use), and they can be set to run once a week, or if the schedule is missed on the next boot etc. Anyways, limit what you have open, within cod mw2 reason, and look at upgrading cod mw2 to 8GB. On a fresh boot, check what the reading are then, WITHOUT things like Google Chrome or BF3 etc loaded! Remove unnecessary crap from startup.
I didn't have BF3 loaded cod mw2 at the time it was after I closed BF3, but it seems it was still "running"... cod mw2 Anyway, this always happens after I close BF3 or when it sometimes just starts lagging like crazy. Just checked my taskmanager after this happened right now I have no BF3 related things open... I agree 4GB is cutting it close now days but it doesn't explain why my memory usage is at 100% with nothing demanding open.
Driver memory leak? Who knows, cod mw2 sometimes ethernet drivers are prone to those. Have you tried updating all drivers?

Driver memory leak? Who knows, sometimes ethernet drivers are prone to those. Have you tried updating all drivers? Sounds like something related to the game. Could be a driver leak, had something similar happen to me when I had less RAM. Turned out to be a memory leak due to VirtuMVP. Got it updated and fixed the issue. What version of Catalyst are you running on your rig? Have you updated to the latest version of Catalyst? deltatux
