I came across a couple of paintings by Paul Hedley which have a different take on the 'interior look

Gordon Wilson: Five Bar Croft, Skye:  Almost abstract in design, it features cosplay the little croft silhouetted against the black sky with smoke curling up from the chimney behind the fenced area. The dark sky adds the drama and gives the contrast not only in tone, but also in texture.
I had visited Nyman’s National Trust property and had sketched some topiary. So I was interested to see how Peter Heard had tackled this subject matter. Jo March’s work is tonally very dark, with just the odd few objects reflecting the light from the setting sun. The canvas texture is very noticeable in this piece. It reminds me of textile. Peter Heard - Lighthouse topiary garden Jo March - Lockley
Another artist’s work that reminded me of textile was  Este Macleod  – the shapes and colours dominate and have been stylised towards abstraction. Este Macleod - Bright Morning Este Macleod - Black Hill c300x300cm I was struck by Helen Turner’s work; very simply executed, again limited cosplay palette and quite strong hues, but the overall effect is not garish. Helen Turner - The Cullin Ridge Steve Capper - Blue Hills Steve Capper – His active marks for me were reminiscent of Van Gogh.
The feel of Ryan Mutter’s painting is dark and heavy, similar to the feeling I had when looking at Whistler’s work. But the angular shapes of all the man-made constructions are powerful, dominated by this enormous crane which almost has a life of its own. The active diagonal brush marks in the sky lend movement and a foil against the bold horizontal and vertical shape of the crane. The two figures give the human life to the whole painting, despite being so small, and the sombre colours come to life with the wet reflections cosplay shown.
I came across a couple of paintings by Paul Hedley which have a different take on the 'interior looking to exterior', so included these, cosplay having recently completed rather poorly that painting exercise. This painting by Robert Wells is very difficult to read and the shapes and colours do little for me.  Robert Wells - Moorland - 400x397cm
The painting by Cormac O’Leary however, although also a landscape – has more contrast within cosplay and once you know the title is Raughly Coast, it is possible to let the imagination do the rest to read the work. The very limited hues for me provide unity rather than sameness and the foreground texture works well. I couldn’t resist these very impressionistic painting by Janet Ledger , so full of life in an understated way, with great economy of line. Here, less is definitely more!  Janet Ledger Janet Ledger
On the other hand in Cliffs, Tynemouth, I think less is less. As a rough thumbnail sketch it is fine.  Keith Murdoch uses crude marks and colours to portray Silver Birch; one of my favourite trees, yet he has not managed to capture their beautiful delicate branches. cosplay And the colours for me are too strident. The painting seems more to do with the placing of coloured marks. His Puddle  I think works a little better, but is still too disjointed for my taste and the colour blatant.
I’ve been to Andalucia and Manus Walsh has captured the light and topography wonderfully in the rendition. The contrast of the straight clear cut edges with the blurred cosplay areas, the good tonal contrasts which give definition to the houses, and the overall cosplay wonderful lighting. Manus Walsh - Andalucia I’ve included John Piper’s painting as I was struck by the limited cosplay colour he uses so successfully with simple effective composition. John Piper - Red Farm
The following show a variety of approaches to the landscape cosplay genre. Annie Ovenden Tree with Ivy Alan Tyers - Fountains Abbey Annie Ovenden - Tree on Heath Anne Ovenden cosplay - In the field opposite Archie Dunbar MacIntosh - Lanark Chris Forsey - St Anthony in Meneage Chris Forsey - Up the Beach Aldeburgh Colin Carruthers - Autumn Fields cosplay David Barnes - View Across Llyn Padarn David Barnes - Lledr-Valley Deborah Phillips - Blue September Louise Rawlings - Feeding Crows
