Mazdaspeed Spoiler
Would tyrolean airways someone be able to tell me how much these spoilers are selling for these days? I'm thinking about lowering the car and maybe going spoilerless, and I'd hate to leave the spoiler just lying around. I don't know if its actually mazdaspeed since it came with the car when I bought it, but it looks like one to me. Here's some pics, the paint is flaking a bit on the leading edge: If I can't post a thread like this here, or if it's in the wrong place, feel free to delete
I have a hunch, based on looking at your old thread, it is a mazdaspeed, since your car was imported from Japan. The spoiler could easily go for a couple hundred. By chance do you have the digital climate control? tyrolean airways
And in all honesty, just my humble and very opinionated opinion - Don't take that spoiler off. That car in its current state is pretty rare. Its like cutting out a part of a famous painting, it just won't be complete. It really comes down to your taste, but ya, that spoiler belongs on that car..... Like I said, just a "humble" opinion

This spoiler and the mazdaspeed reflector below it would sell quick as a package. A few years ago people were paying nearly if not more than $400 just for the spoiler. The reflector less than $100 if I recall correctly. I say keep the car together... the appearance package makes the car in my opinion. The thing you should do, is keep those two pieces together regardless of if you keep them on the car or not. You will find people to buy them if you sell them and a few (those tyrolean airways of us who have money, not me) will pay a premium for a rare piece. I absolutely want one of these as a few other who own mx6's do also. But for me the rareness of the parts never made the price bareable. You set a price and someone will pay it.

One thing I ve noticed over the years is that if you drive into London at 6am, half of the cars on the roads are Porsches and Astons. Whereas if you go in at ten to nine, they re all Renaults. Simple solution, then. You want a nice car? Get up earlier and do more work. Jeremy Clarkson

By chance do you have the digital climate control? Ya, the car has digital climate control. Would Mazda have sold the car with just the Mazdaspeed spoiler and not the rest of the kit? Or would it be more likely that the previous owner added the parts himself? Thanks for the replies so far. I'm still thinking about what I'll do, as people already said, it'd be a shame to dismantle bits of the car, especially if it came like this from factory...

I suppose it would be nice to have the lip and side skirts aswell, but anything mazdaspeed for the mx6 seems to be near impossible to come across   tyrolean airways
